Description
This insulated FR parka delivers cold-weather protection and multi-hazard performance for workers exposed to arc flash, flash fire, molten metal, and welding-related thermal hazards. Built with a durable Westex UltraSoft® 9 oz shell and insulated with 14 oz flame-resistant Modacrylic quilted fabric, it provides warmth, wind resistance, and vapour barrier protection in harsh outdoor conditions. HiVisTex Flame™ ULTRA reflective striping enhances visibility in low-light environments, while the fleece-lined hand pockets, adjustable knit cuffs, and two-way zipper support comfort during extended shifts. Designed for industrial winter use, this parka integrates seamlessly with the matching insulated hood and insulated bib pants to achieve a complete CAT 4 arc-rated winter system.
Key Features
FR insulated construction: 14 oz Modacrylic quilted insulation with wind and vapour barrier for reliable winter protection.
Durable UltraSoft® shell: 9 oz blend of 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon provides long-lasting FR performance.
High-visibility striping: HiVisTex Flame™ ULTRA reflective tape enhances visibility in low-light industrial conditions.
Thermal comfort: Fleece-lined hand pockets and knit cuffs help retain warmth.
Secure closure system: Two-way zipper and Velcro collar closure for adjustable protection.
Functional design: Pen pocket, patch pockets with snap flaps, HS monitor strap with elastic fastener, and interior wind/vapour barrier.
Mobility focused: Side elastic panels and action-back construction improve range of motion.
Compatible system: Pairs with insulated hood (Style 265) and insulated bib pants (Style 525) for full CAT 4 protection.
