About This Training

This course covers the fundamental principles of respiratory protection and the regulatory requirements associated with qualitative respirator fit testing. Participants will learn how to properly use half-mask respirators, testing solutions, and hoods required for qualitative fit testing methods.

Important: It is strongly recommended that you be clean-shaven in order to participate in the hands-on activities.

: Discover the essential steps required to conduct compliant and effective qualitative fit tests, including preparation, testing protocols, and evaluation procedures.
: Perform supervised qualitative fit tests to gain confidence and proficiency in the testing process.
: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a PDF certificate that meets both federal and provincial regulatory requirements. The certificate remains valid for three (3) years.
