They also provide Category 2 protection against electric arc hazards, with an ATPV of 12 cal/cm². The lightweight AluSkin fabric blend combines this multi-hazard protection with features intended for comfortable industrial wear, including a half-elastic back waist and reinforced construction at stress points. Segmented 2-inch FR reflective tape adds visibility while maintaining the garment’s protective design. For applications requiring coordinated upper- and lower-body protection, the pants can be paired with compatible AluSkin protective shirts.
