    Description

    The 3M™ DBI-SALA® Rollgliss™ Rescue Positioning Device (RPD) – 3602050 is a 4:1 mechanical advantage system designed to provide both rescue and work positioning capabilities in vertical environments. Engineered with an integrated speed-sensing brake, this pre-rigged rescue solution allows for controlled raising and lowering of personnel, and it can be easily locked into place for precise work positioning.

    Compact and versatile, this system arrives ready to use out of the bag, minimizing setup time in critical rescue scenarios. Whether deployed for self-rescue, assisted evacuation, or positioning work at height, the Rollgliss™ RPD is trusted by professionals in utilities, construction, wind energy, and industrial maintenance where safety and reliability are paramount.

    Pre-Rigged for Immediate Use : Fully assembled in the bag—just unpack and install. No assembly or setup required.
    Manual Ascent & Descent Control : Enables precise positioning during work or rescue operations with hand-over-hand control or optional rope-gripping handle.
    Speed-Sensing Brake : Automatic braking feature engages during overspeed situations, increasing user safety during descent.
    Locking Capability : Allows users to be suspended securely in place for work positioning.
    Durable Kernmantle Lifeline :Made from braided polyester sheath over nylon core, 3/8 in. (9.5 mm) diameter with 5,600 lbf (25 kN) tensile strength.
