SPI Health and Safety’s technical services team quickly took ownership of the request with the goal of going beyond a simple equipment rental.

The objective was to gain a clear understanding of the client’s real needs, operational constraints, and the limitations of their current solution in order to propose a more comprehensive and sustainable approach.

As soon as the request was received, we implemented a structured approach:

• In-depth analysis of the challenges associated with the client’s current solution
• Validation of the operational context and shutdown constraints
• Identification of both short-term needs and long-term optimization opportunities
• Positioning SPI as a solution partner, rather than simply an equipment provider

Strategic Collaboration

A close collaboration between our external sales representative and Dräger made it possible to quickly organize an on-site product trial and test the solution under real operating conditions.

Results and Benefits for the Client

Following this process and the successful on-site trial, the client chose to expand its collaboration with SPI Health and Safety. The decisions made included:

✅ Short-term rental of gas detection equipment for the shutdown
✅ Switching suppliers in favor of SPI Health and Safety
✅ Adoption of a four-year long-term rental program
✅ Implementation of quarterly on-site visits by the SAM team for equipment maintenance and follow-up
✅ Centralization of gas cylinder management and procurement through SPI

This approach allows the client to simplify equipment management, ensure compliance and availability, and benefit from ongoing technical support.
