Description
The MSA Cable Temporary Horizontal Lifeline (THLL) is designed to provide fast and efficient fall protection for workers operating along horizontal work areas. Featuring a lightweight galvanized steel cable and a completely toolless installation system, this lifeline can be installed significantly faster than traditional cable systems. The integrated locking and tensioning mechanism located on the handle simplifies setup by eliminating the need for nuts, bolts, or wrenches. Clear red and green visual indicators allow users to confirm when the system is properly locked and tensioned. Patented bypass shuttles enable up to two workers to maintain 100% tie-off while moving along the lifeline, improving mobility while maintaining reliable fall protection.
Key Features
Toolless installation system: Integrated locking and tensioning mechanism allows quick setup without tools.
Faster installation: Designed to install significantly faster than traditional cable horizontal lifeline systems.
Integrated tensioning handle: Locking and tensioning controls located on the same side simplify system setup.
Visual safety indicators: Red and green indicators confirm when the system is locked, tensioned, and ready for use.
Patented bypass shuttles: Allow two users to move along the lifeline while maintaining continuous tie-off.
Lightweight galvanized steel cable: Durable yet flexible cable simplifies installation by a single worker.
RFID enabled: Supports equipment tracking and digital inspection programs.
Intended Use
This temporary horizontal lifeline system provides fall protection for workers moving along elevated work areas where continuous anchorage points are limited.
