    Description

The Kosto VMKF60 FR and Arc Flash Rain Jacket is engineered to keep workers dry, visible, and protected in environments with high electrical and weather-related hazards. Constructed from flame-retardant polyurethane laminated over polyester, this waterproof jacket offers a robust barrier against rain while delivering arc flash protection with a Category 2 ATPV rating of 24 cal/cm². Its high-visibility orange shell, enhanced with 4" FR reflective tape in a 360° configuration, ensures compliance with key safety standards. Designed for versatility, the VMKF60 includes a removable hood, high collar, and an interior zipper to integrate the VGKF65 liner for added insulation during cold weather. Pairing with VPKF60 pants upgrades visibility compliance to CSA Class 3.

    Key Features

Crafted from 100% flame-retardant polyurethane and polyester, the VMKF60 rain jacket delivers both waterproof performance and arc flash protection. It features 4-inch FR K-Brite reflective tape arranged in a 360° configuration with an "X" on the back for maximum visibility. The removable hood folds into the collar, and a dual zipper system allows integration with the VGKF65 liner to convert the jacket into a 3-in-1 system. With high-strength, heat-sealed seams and ventilated back panels, the jacket balances breathability and water resistance. Quick-access pockets with snap closures offer secure storage, while elastic cuffs and a high collar provide added protection and comfort in demanding conditions.

    Intended Use

Ideal for utility, electrical maintenance, petrochemical, and construction professionals, the VMKF60 jacket is designed for arc flash protection in rainy or wet outdoor environments. Its ANSI and CSA certifications make it suitable for workplaces that enforce high visibility and multi-hazard protection standards. When combined with the VPKF60 pants and VGKF65 liner, it creates a complete, high-performance rainwear system for year-round safety and compliance.
