The Viking Miner 49er 5200J is a heavy-duty waterproof mining jacket designed for extended use in abrasive industrial environments. Its neoprene and nylon construction with polyurethane backing provides resistance to acids, chemicals, oils and solvents, as well as excellent puncture, tear and abrasion resistance. Heat-sealed and taped seams create a waterproof and windproof barrier, while strategically positioned 2-inch Vi-brance® reflective tape improves front and rear visibility. Durable nickel-plated brass buttons secure the jacket, and a rear D-ring opening accommodates fall-protection equipment while also providing ventilation. The material protects against incidental contact with heat and flame but is not intended for hydrocarbon flash fires, electric-arc hazards or welding sparks.
