The new regulation on noise exposure

Noise in the workplace may seem harmless at first glance, but the long-term effects of excessive noise exposure can be devastating. With the only regulation in Canada that still allows for an 8-hour continuous exposure to 90 dBA noise, Quebec will finally modify its Règlement sur la santé et la sécurité du travail (RSST).

This change will take place on June 16, 2023.
