Quality / Project Management Initiatives
SPI can put in place established standards of quality control measurements and best practices such as assessment infrastructure and consulting for Capability Maturity Model (Integrated), Six Sigma and standardized internal audits to increase the quality of work output.
SPI’s main resource is its investment in the best IT process (QA and PM) professionals. Most project mangers have several years of managerial experience and possess the ability to perform business analyst duties. SPI’s project managers are encouraged to become Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt certified.
SPI has its very own knowledge sharing software, spiKE that documents all processes on a particular project. This knowledge sharing tool is accessible to all project managers and their teams for information on topics specific to an industry.
SPI follows CMMI Standards that require work product documentation to be standardized.
SPI’s quality control standards require that :
- Our project managers review every level of the project against the applicable quality control standards
- Provide CMMI and estimation assessments
- Clients have access to all projects with the help of spiProjects®
- All project artifacts are viewed online
- Create independent audit teams for constant evaluation
- Organizations meet government regulatory standards such as ‘Sarbannes Oxley compliance’
- formal and informal audit measures are undertaken
- Formal QA and review processes are implemented for defect prevention
