SPI has taken multiple steps to ensure that data travels securely within our networks.   Being an offshore development institution, we were tasked with transporting data between continents.   We accomplish this goal by implementing Private Point-to-Point communications.  This form of communication directly pairs two or more locations together across secure high speed private lines, without the use of a shared internet cloud.  In the remote possibility of line failure, we use an Encrypted Virtual Private Network solution based out of a Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA) monitored center.   This center is located on the backbone of the Internet and provides OC 192 speed to our encrypted tunnel.   Failover to this tunnel is seamless.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
SPI works on the core offerings of several customers and thereby appreciates the importance of intellectual property protection.  SPI has a contract with all its customers for a comprehensive non-disclosure and mutual protection of intellectual property rights.
