Udyog Ratan for SPI MD

The managing director of Software Paradigms (India) Pvt. Ltd Mr. K.K.Mookerji has been awarded the Rashtriya Udyog Ratan Award for 2005. Instituted by Indian Organization for Business Research &Development (IOBRD), this award is given to dignitaries for excellence and extra achievements in their respective fields such as business, health, finance, industry and tourism.
Excellence in IT Exports(2004-05)

Software Paradigms India Pvt Ltd, Mysore has been honored with the Certificate of Excellence in IT exports from the secondary city-Mysore for 2004-2005. Recognized by STPI, Govt. of India and Govt. of Karnataka, this award was given to SPI for the second consecutive year. Shri Dharam Singh, Honorable chief minister of Karnataka presented the award to Siddhartha Mookerji, CEO SPI at Bangalore. Shri Dayanidhi Maran , minister for Communication & IT , Govt. of India was present. The Software Export industry has grown by 62% in Karnataka contributing exports of Rs. 27.600 crores during the year 2004-05. The state has contributed 36% of the total software exports from the country. SPI , a 100 percent export oriented unit, has been functioning since 1997 as an offshore center of Software Paradigms International, USA.

On July 29th 2004, SPI received the Certificate of Excellence in
IT Export from the Secondary city of Mysore in the state of
Karnataka. This award was presented to SPI by Shri Dharam Singh,
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnantaka.
In an e mail to our CEO Mr. Sid
Mookerji, the director of the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI),
Mr. B.V. Naidu recognized SPI's achievements. Here is what he had to
say.
Dear Sid,
The Software Export Industry has grown by 46% in Karnataka
contributing exports of Rs.18,100 crores during the year 2003-04.
The State has contributed to 36% of the total software exports
from the country.
