Ms. Sophie Mookerji, President and majority shareholder of Software Paradigms International Inc has several years of experience in the IT industry.  She founded SPI with Sid Mookerji in 1994.

Ms. Mookerji manages the day-to-day operations of SPI from an administrative viewpoint. She leads the corporate leadership team responsible for building the vision for SPI's growth and organizing the resources to successfully implement that vision into reality.  Sophie has brought a lot of her breadth of experience and vision into making SPI a very successful organization.

Sid Mookerji - CEO

Sid Mookerji is the Chief Executive Officer of SPI, a company he co-founded in 1994. Heading up an organization that employs more than 1000 workers in various locations, Sid’s responsibilities include: creating a vision for the company’s future and setting the daily course for the company’s product and service delivery to clients. Sid’s top priority is building and executing strategic plans to help make SPI’s services more customer-centric and profitable. Committed to building and maintaining a customer-focused IT services organization using an offshore/correct-shore development model, Sid enables technologies and processes to maximize productivity and quality, designing enterprise-wide systems to make executing large projects more transparent and predictable. Holding a strong belief in SPI’s people, he uses enlightened HR practices where frontline leaders train and help retain a viable, committed and productive workforce.

Sid’s experience includes founding and growing SPI – a multi-location global software solutions organization with its state-of-the-art communications and brick-and-mortar infrastructures, human resources, marketing, and Web-based systems to rationalize and expedite delivery mechanisms. Sid’s best example? Their proprietary project management tool, spiProject®, was created by SPI to provide clients with a real-time portal into all aspects of their projects’ management. Projects that are guided onsite by SPI’s US-based project managers working in harmony with teams offshore, yielding the ideal blend of “correct-shoring”.

Prior to founding SPI, Sid held positions with several large, highly respected and well-known IT players in the offshore outsourcing space.

Carl Chinoy - Chief Operating Officer

Carl Chinoy has over 22 years of experience in the Information Management services, with over 12 years of Management Consulting experience. He had held multiple leadership positions at Deloitte Consulting LLP and Ernst & Young LLP and led large teams executing multiple projects for Fortune 500 clients.

Carl has rich and wide-ranging experience in managing large global implementations utilizing sound methodology and processes. His project management background includes managing multiple large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Applications Development projects for large Fortune 500 clients such as Coke and CDC. He was responsible for starting and successfully running the Deloitte Consulting Offshore Development Center in Hyderabad, India. At Ernst and Young, Carl led their SAP Data Warehousing practice and assisted multiple clients in designing and developing Enterprise Information Management strategies. In his earlier positions, Carl has also been responsible for developing tools and processes when managing large offshore development teams. He has extensive knowledge in Enterprise Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Architecture and Development Services.

Jeff Meaux - Sr. Vice President of Sales

Jeff Meaux was appointed Senior Vice President of Sales in August, 2007. He is responsible for developing and executing the Sales and Marketing strategies for all SPI IT and BPO services.

Jeff came to SPI after spending six years with PRG Shultz, a leading financial services organization, where he served as SVP of Sales, North America. Prior to PRG Schultz, Jeff held prominent sales positions with The Coca Cola Company and Procter and Gamble. He brings a solid track record of building strong customer relationships, business alliances, and account management programs to the SPI team.

Jeff has an MBA from Emory University, Goizueta Business School, Atlanta and a Bachelors degree from Miami University, Ohio.

Jack Toma - Chief Financial Officer

Jack Toma serves as the Chief Financial Officer of SPI with the responsibility for driving all financial activities in the organization. Jack’s prior experience includes senior executive positions with a variety of high-pedigree organizations. As Vice Chairman of PRG Schultz International, Inc. he oversaw all functions related to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, business integration, information technology, legal and administrative services. Jack co-founded PRG with John Cook in 1991 and served as Director, Executive Vice President of Administration and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for that organization.

Prior to PRG-Schultz, Jack served as Senior Vice President of Administration for Roy Greene Associates, one of two small audit recovery firms that were merged to establish PRG. Jack also has held positions as Operating Vice President for Caldor Stores, a division of The May Department Stores Co.; Assistant Controller with Kaufmann’s Department Stores, another May division; and Controller for McCoy Inc. and the Eaton Car Repair Division of Eaton Corp.

In 2000, Jack created the Toma Family Foundation, Inc. a private foundation dedicated to providing four-year college scholarships to graduating high school students based on character, need, achievement and desire.

Madhukar Venkataramiah - Vice President, HR & Administration

Madhukar Venkataramiah is the Vice President – Human Resources & Administration, Software Paradigms (India) Pvt. Ltd. He has served as Director – Human Resources for one year before taking over the complete responsibility of HR & Administration. Prior to joining SPI in 2006, he worked with large organizations of repute in India and overseas. His fifteen years of rich and varied experience in Human Resource, Personnel management, Training and Development, Legal and employee relations is an asset to the organization. He has strong exposure to international Human Resource practices with specific focus on recruitment of talent in Indian sub continent, Middle-East, Far-East, North-Africa, Europe and United Kingdom.

Madhukar played an integral and key role in acquisition of COMAT Technologies’ BPO business in July 2007.

A.K. Ranganathan - Principal Manager, Finance

A.K. Ranganathan is the Principal Manager – Finance. In this role, he is responsible for all Finance and Accounting functions for SPI India’s operations.

Ranganathan has been associated with SPI as its external auditor since its inception as a registered company in Mysore in 1997. He is a board certified Chartered Accountant and has worked in various positions in the corporate world and as an entrepreneur for over 25 years. Prior to joining SPI, he had his private practice as a CA.

Bill Blackstone - Consulting Partner - Retail

Bill Blackstone has over three decades of experience in the information system industry in the Retail vertical. This background includes designing and implementing complex databases and large system for marquee retailers in the US.

Bill served in several positions including Vice President of Architecture and Senior Vice President of Applications Development for Federated Department Stores. He has also been Vice President of Development for the Profit Recovery Group International in Atlanta, a contingency auditing firm specializing in Retail customers. In recent years, as a senior executive in the SPI team, Bill has helped in designing and implementing complex software solutions for several of SPI’s Retail customers.

Bill has extensive experience in methodology implementation and large project management as well as business process and information technology alignment for Retail. He also has extensive IBM mainframe software experience.
