Vendor Compliance Federation Conference
So, I haven't been as regular as I am meaning to be with these posts. Just like in every business, things come up, and while I'd love to blog and share what SPI is doing each and every day, sometimes it's not possible.
However... this presents a nice segue into what I have been doing – planning and preparing for SPI's speaking engagement at Vendor Compliance Federation's East Coast Conference, https://www.vcmww.com/vcf/client/eventDetail.jsp?eventId=271.
I'm not sure how many of you out there are familiar with the Vendor Compliance Federation, or VCF, but I'm a fan.
In just 4 days, SPI will head down to sunny Florida with the leading retailers and vendors from North America for this conference, but we'll also be co-presenting, www.link-to-spis-press-release-on-this.
Our session is with Hudson's Bay Company, and it's Improving Vendor Relations through Tradeflow Optimization. If you've been reading this blog, know that that's SPI's solution, which is geared toward promoting better collaboration between retailers and their vendors.
From the various industry conferences I've been to and the organizations I've been involved with, VCF does an exceptional job of promoting real retailer-vendor collaboration and does so in an intimate environment where you can have open, frank discussions with peers and counterparts.
So, we hope to see you there, but if you can't make it, reach out to me for a copy of our presentation so you can get an idea of what was shared.
