Retail Technology Firm Expands Global Footprint

SPI, a retail technology and financial solutions company, has acquired Kathmandu-based WorldLink Technologies, a software solutions provider with extensive experience in consulting, development and implementation of enterprise applications.

In conjunction with functioning as the third global delivery center for SPI's retail clients, the new organization, SPI Nepal, will continue to focus on servicing WorldLink's existing customer base within government, public, banking, financial service and insurance sectors.

To date, SPI employs 1,500 individuals worldwide, with the majority of offshore employees located at one of two offshore development centers in either Mysore or Mangalore, India.
