Software Paradigms (India) Ltd (SPI), the first Mysore based 100% export oriented, CMMI level 5 and ISO 9001-2000 certified IT unit established in August 1997 by K.K. Mookerji provides end-to-end business solutions to IT challenges of global corporations and serves as the offshore centre of Software Paradigms International located in Atlanta, USA.
A domiciled Mysorean, Mr.K.K.Mookerji worked for over 40 years in CFTRI in City as a senior scientist and settled down in City after his retirement. He had set his eye on delivering cost effective, high quality and timely software solutions to clients. Specializing in retail, financial services and health care, SPI provides services in New Application development, Legacy Application management, Migrations and Re-Platforming services, Data-Centric services and BPO.
SPI follows robust processes to ensure that quality is delivered with Six Sigma consistency. SPI has been assessed at level-5 of SW-CMMI Ver 1.1 based on the SCAMPI Assessment carried out by KPMG during Dec 2004-Jan 2005. It further reinstates its commitment towards high quality.
The Government of Karnataka and STPI have acknowledged SPI’s contribution to the IT sector by awarding it with the Certificate of Excellence in IT Exports for 2003-2004. SPI started its BPO unit (Specialized Process Innovation Pvt.Ltd) in 2003 to do the back end work for the support functions; this unit also provides back end customer care and administrative services to US based clients from health care and financial services sectors. The company has recently acquired 11 acres of land in Hebbal, industrial area, Mysore for growing its BPO operations and has a team of 300 engineers delivering solutions, which Mr.Mookerji hopes to expand to 3000 in the next 3-5 years.
