Software Paradigms International Inc (SPI), a company incorporated in USA and having its offshore centre in city, has decided to enhance its community development initiative by donating computers to mentally retarded children of Mythri Institute here.
“We realize our responsibility as a corporate citizen and this step is the second in series of our building social relationship with the city of Mysore,” said Mr. Sid Mookerji, CEO, SPI.
Mythri Institute for the Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Special Children renders education and training to all classes of mentally retarded, cerebral palsied, spastic, autistic and down’s syndrome children belonging to the underprivileged section of the society.
It uses various therapies like laughter, yoga, meditation, art, music etc., to enable them to lead a near normal life.
Association with Bapuji Children’s Home, an orphanage, is SPI’s another charitable venture. Working on the offshore business model, SPI is oriented towards providing cost-effective and quality solutions to clients.
The mentally ill children will themselves receive the computers from Mr. Sid Mookerji on Jan. 8 at unit II of SPI, Contour Road, Gokulam.
