Arun Nayar is SPI's Global Head of Human Resources. In this role, he leads SPI's Human Resources, Learning & Development, Admin and Corporate Communications activities worldwide. Arun has over eighteen years of rich and varied experience in HR, Personnel Management, Training & Development, and employee relations.

Holding a BCom degree from Mumbai University and an MBA from Symbiosis, Pune, Arun started his career with the Indian army as an officer and served for six years as Captain and troop commander. Subsequently, he worked as an entrepreneur before joining Infosys in 2004.

Arun worked with Infosys Ltd. for seven and a half years where he led his team to establish HR systems and processes for the world's largest corporate training university and the Infosys Leadership Institute at Mysore. At the time of leaving Infosys, Arun was heading the HR function for their Mysore and Hyderabad development centres, having a total employee base of over 25000 people. During his tenure, Arun won the prestigious Infosys Excellence Award for Business Unit management, People Development, Best Development Centre and Creation of systems and processes among other accolades.
